I guess I wouldn't have high expectations for a place named "Asia Wok", haha, but the reviews made me reconsider. What a lovely surprise!
You must know, I've spent quite some time in Vietnam and am absolutely obsessed with Bun Cha (Ha Noi). It's rather rare to find it in Berlin, so whenever I see it I must order it.
The Bun Cha here came in a single dish with everything mixed together. That takes a lot of the fun of eating Bun Cha away and of course ever bite will taste more or less the same.
(I suppose that's what Germans want though. You probably noticed that ALL dishes here always come in one plate. I see no other explanation why all the Asian places would place the perfectly nice rice in the middle of a lake of curry sauce...)
HOWEVER, it was freakishly good. Like, super delicious. Peanuts, fish sauce, bbq pork, shiso, sweetness. Everything works together perfectly. On top of that, it was only 6.50 Euro. I can't believe we didn't come earlier.
What I tried of my friends' curry and crispy duck were definitely above Berlin average, too! -

I come here very often because I love it so much. This is my favorite place to get duck. The food is a great price and always delicious. The staff is very friendly. I've had 6 different dishes here and my boyfriend always gets different ones. So, together, we have tried many items off their menu and I would recommend all of it.

It's nice to see that Good Friday is a proper public holiday in Germany. Other than restaurants, everything is shut
Even in the main train station, Berlin Haupbahnhof, the fast food joints all closed early
Asia Wok is in a little group of stalls opposite the station purveying fast food, which was still open at 11.30. They sell fried noodles or rice with a small variety of toppings
Cooked fresh to order and topped with a choice of sauces and crunchy deep fried shallots, the basic normal sized box with chicken represents good value at €2.50
They also sell a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic bottled drinks -

Ordered summer rolls with tofu and the pho. Asia wok typically means to an American like me a Chinese spot, but the owners are Vietnamese. I give the food 3-3.5 stars. Summer rolls were kind of gimpy and came with fish sauce and not peanut sauce. The pho was alright, but definitely tasted from the cube. Service was good. Lady that served was friendly. Also wifi so I bumped this up from 3.5 to 4.
Cheap eats though, so if you're looking for a quick fill and something easy on the wallet this isn't a bad spot to try out. -

Delicious food, authentic tasting. Trust me, I am Asian. The price is very budget friendly as well.
